Black tank rinse

Has anyone ever hooked up the outside shower hose to the black tank rinse and rinsed the tank with hot water after dumping? Seems like hot water would do a better rinse than cold water.

Yes, in my opinion it didn't make much difference. I've had better luck with a good healthy squirt of some cheapo dish soap & then rinse several times.

Never thought of that. Very interesting concept. Maybe someone on here has actually tried it. I've always just used cold water and have never had a black tank problem.

Thats how I do my rinse but with cold water

I can't help but believe some people over think the whole black tank flush. Too many more important things to worry about. Like am I out of beer or Makers Mark?

I would consider running our of either a reason to call 911

I keep flushing tank with fresh cold water over and over till beer can is empty sometimes get another one and watch clear 90 degree elbow show some clean water. Then I'll go inside.
