Bedroom TV

I figured this had been discussed before but I could find nothing in a search. How do you remove the bedroom tv from the mount ? Want to add a fire stick to it. I’ve lifted it up and it’ll pull out a little but I can’t get it off the mount.

It will pull up from the bottom, up and pull out.
It has a stiff spring so a little force is needed

We’re you able to get the TV down? I’ve been working on the same issue and was getting ready to post same question. Feels like I’m going to rip it off the wall.

Its hard to get out but you need to lift it up and then pull the bottom out then you can lower the TV.

It will be a bit hard to get out. There isn't much clearance behind the tv and the power cord makes it harder. Do yourself a favor and pick up a 90 degree power cord to replace the one that's in there. Makes it much easier the second time.
Also, put an extension on the cord for the FireStick so that you can disconnect it when not in use. Unlike a Roku, the FireStick sucks data even when not turned on.
