Bedroom slide

Hello, have 2018 3901WB- while sliding out bedroom slide, had loud noise and stopped moving. Looking under bed there is chain and cables coming from under bed platform and can see a broken link in chain. Am about 1 mile from dealer and wondering how to get slide back in and secure to tow in.

Not sure I can help with getting the slide back in, but the bedroom slide is an “Accu-Slide”.

Here is the service manual:

Red face

Had to manually pull bed slide in by my wife and I.
Was able to get into shop(thank god was only 1 1/2 miles)
Had broken chain and cables were sheared off.
The motor and mechanism are under bed,so they had to completely dismantle the bed and platform to get at it.

My Gosh! I would not think that is very common. (at least I hope not). Did you find the cause?
