It's rained here in VA for 4 days and I noticed on second day the carpet at the foot of bed in one spot is soaked, coming up from the floor? It's day 4 and I am still using my shop vac? Anybody had this problem? 2013 36RE

Do you have a washer and dryer? If so, have you been using them? Several owners have had problems with the w asher hose disconnecting under the bed. You can check earlier posts. It was supposed to have been fixed by the factory during assembly, but might be worth checking.

We also have a 36RE and had a similar issue. We noticed a wet spot on the wall between the bed and closet. We also noticed that the underside of the slide out was soft from water. We re-caulked the track for the slide out. We have had about 7 days of rain in here in NC and haven't had a problem since we did the re-caulk. We also caulked along the bottom trim on the slide.

The wet areas described have previously been the issue of the washer connections.

Yes have washer and dryer and yes have been using it, ok thx everyone for input!!
But I have been using them for over a month and no issues? Seems to be one spot tho, but haven't pulled base of bed up yet to see if it's wet!Edited by: pricelessdolphin

I would pull the bed base apart. You may find the black drain line disconnected.

You can actually check this if you take the stair side drawer out & use a flashlight.

The line may have been connected, but sometimes, because of bringing the slide in and out, it works its way loose. I thought they had taken care of this problem at the factory on the newer units, but maybe not?
