Bedding for Redwood

My 2016 39FL just arrived and I learned today from the dealer a king bed in an RV is not the same dimensions as a king in your home. So for anyone who has a king bed in their Redwood - where can you buy sheets, mattress pad etc that will fit an rv bed?

They were supposed to fit?

I would be curious about the answers you get, as I might be willing to go that route if they make them. For now we just tuck - not optimal given the type bed we have. (Older Euro type used in 2012-2015 or so).

Just use regular king bedding. Nowadays they make big pocket sheets and mattress pads which is totally unnecessary on the RW bed. If you can find a regular king, that will work.

We use standard King Bed Sheets and covers, fit and work fine
The RV King is only a few inches shorter, not enough to make a difference

Thanks everyone. I'm going to measure the mattress and compare to the king sheet sets I'll get. Appreciate the input. One less thing to have to think about.

jour sheets fit the bed no problem. But shortly after we got the RW we bought and installed a Residential memory foam Mattress. The one that came with the RW was not that great

We use the regular king size sheets. My problem is the frame under the mattress seems like it's made for a queen size mattress. I push the mattress all the way to one side cuz my partner needs a little more room to get into bed which leaves me sleeping on a slanted mattress cuz no support under my side. Has anyone else had this problem?

Nope. We pulled that thing out almost immediately and put down plywood to give the king mattress full support.

We did the same as "homeguy". Only problem we created was the new king mattress and 3/4 plywood added some weight to the slide and the last 6 inches from being closed I have to give it a littler help. No big deal though Ill sacrifice that for comfort.

I did the same with our queen, but used 1/2" plywood. There's plenty of support under there so I felt the 1/2" would be sufficient & 3 years later I guess I was right, no problems.

Yep, same as others, removed that poor OEM excuse for plywood and installed a higher grade 1/2" to support our Sleep Number from side to side, also extened the length alittle, making sure there was still some clearance with the slide in.

When you say frame, do you mean the euro style slatted box spring underneath? That's what we have and still have and actually love it, but it does not support the king at the foot of the bed.

I had thought they changed beds later in 2014.

We too have the Steel Euro Frame with the slats in our FL and love it.
The new models have a lift up bed that is a plywood platform.

Our Mattress hung off the end of the Euro Frame too, I unscrewed the frame, moved the frame down about 6 inches reattached it and filled in the space created at the head with wood.
