Bauer door lock

I just have to say that the owner of Bauer locks was one of the best people I have had to work with! At the end of the year my lock broke the outside handle just flopped back and forth so I could not get in I called and he told me how to break the handle completely out so I could get in, he next day shipped a new lock along with return tag for the old one the new one is improved you can touch the two bottom keys at the same time and it locks he was telling me that he's working on making it lock and unlock from your phone great service! Now if only RV lock was the same when my factory installed RV lock broke that guy said just email me and I'll send a replacement out after the third call and two emails nothing that's when I installed the Bauer

One of the nice things about having two entry doors, if one does not work, try the other

They are great people to deal with. Anyone who was at the rally last year got to see what they are all about. It was amazing to see the engineer replacing locks for free and stayed till dark and then came back the next day to install more for people. Can't say enough about them!

I had to call last week to get a new lock. Our key pad would not move the deadbolt. The key worked fine so we were not locked out or in. They took care us right away no questions asked and we sent back the defective lock. Wish the rest of our RW was that easy but no such luck.

Yep I know, saw that on the Factory tour at the Rally last year, glad we got ours with the two entry doors

They sent me the newer metal lock for mine - no charge. It's a great lock, but my wife has a hard time opening any of them as she doesn't have the strength. I'm thinking I may need to add something to the latch to giver her some more leverage.

after having bauer lock replacement not working properly I took drill bit and drilled out little bit of the inside of the door, then took tape measure and saw how much lock actually moves in and out. compared to what I had drilled out. then set lock mechanism facing few degrees up, no problems ever since.

Similar issue with our Bauer Locks when we took delivery of our RW.
Our Dealer, Lazydays had no idea how the Bauer Locks worked or how to correct our problem and make them work right.
Our issue was the lock would not make a full stroke due to the hole in the door casing / wall was too shallow and the lock was bottoming out in the hole in the door / wall.
I made the hole deeper so the lock would make the full stroke, no more issues with our Bauer locks since.

Bauer most likely have the absolute best customer service. Just called them when first lock gave up, they did send me a new one right away. No need to call Redwood for a new lock, better call Bauer direct. They help you out fast and efficient.
