Which on-board air do you use? Do you wish it was a more powerful unit ever? We are just getting ready to pull the trigger on one of those systems and are trying to decide how much is enough. Thanks!

Just the one that came with my air bags --- airlifts wirelessONE...

BUT, I've yet to prove it has the duty cycle to pump up 8 tires if need be - I've actually not had much of an issue with the redwood's LT tires (knocks on wood!)

Not full timing so always have too many stops along the way with my paltry 26 gallon fuel tank where I can get air if need be

but have heard nothing but good about viair IF you get the right duty cycle for your needs..

I used to write code for a LARGE bakery years ago (parent company of earth grains, etc...) that made bread sold all over the country...
the SAME loaf of bread had upwards of 100 wrappers and 100 prices !

The pricing module I wrote was an application in itself...
and shame on the developer that sent the wrong parameters to it....

the wrong price list would come out causing MUCH grief for them

i have this.. with an additional tank... (second unit on the truck) which fuels the 5 trumpets.. yee who dies with the most toys... wins.. (or at least can wake the dead)...

I just got this one to replace my old one, and wish I would have done it years ago. The 150 psi pressure is what drove me to replace my old one, but what I didn't count on was the cfm this one produces. Zowie! My old one was 0.3 cfm and this one is 3.5! No more waiting 20 minutes to get up to 100 psi, this one hits 150 psi in a matter of a couple of minutes.

PS - Sears rebranding (hahahaa). Why do you think they use long names like "Craftsman" and "Kenmore"? So their label covers the original brand

Have a vair mounted in my tool box. Hooked up direct to the air hitch. Also has quick disconnect for air hose. Good for topping off tires. Will fill a flat but would take several minutes. If filling more than one tire would have to let rest between, but overall works good for size and easiness of use.

I mounted Porter Cable pancake on a shelf in front compartment (no genny) & mounted a 25-30' retractable hose reel & remote switch(explosion proof) in propane compartment on curbside, I can reach all RW tires & rear TV with no problem.

I bought one of these Porter Cable 150 PSI compressors on Amazon. I was very impressed with how fast it pumped up to 150 PSI. This acts like a very nice compressor. It will come in very handy with my new H rated tires. My old compressor would hardly pump the old E rated China Bombs to 90 PSI. So decided with my new H rated tires from Ron I would need a better compressor. Thanks for the suggestion.
