A/C issues

[r time soon]

We camped at Indiana Dunes State Park in Chesterton IN for a week and a half during the 4th of July. Pretty hot for some folks. Our A/C's did great. I removed all the covers, louvers and trimmed down the extra that sticks up inside the ducts. Foil taped around all the holes from the ceiling into the ducts. No leaking cold air into warm/ hot attic now.

Others had a difficult time keeping their units cool. Wasn't sure of the manufacturer of the tent or the A/C unit in the following pics. Clever, but I bet it ran all the time as the tent wasn't insulated at all.

Gotta give those people credit. I bet they slept pretty good at night. I have a similar wall unit in our S&B bedroom, so I don't have to run our central unit to cool 2000 sq. ft. for just the DW & I. I have yet to experience a hot day in our GK, so not sure how it will do. Will take your experience/fix on the ducting before we pull out next year to FT.

Come on down to South Louisiana and we will challenge that 38GK. RW finally acknowledged that my 2015 38 GK has a design problem. DUH??? you think?? 95 Degree day and cannot maintain any more than 82 degrees. I have mine parked in the garage at the house. With the t-stats set on 79. NOPE even in the darkness of the garage it cannot maintain that. AC's run all day...

Do you have any sort of documentation from RW about this design problem in the 38GK? Mine is also 2015.
