We are new to RV traveling and living. Our 38GK should be arrivng at the end of the month. My questions concern what is needed to to set up the RVat the park. Since we have nothing at the moment, I would like to know a head of time whatitems we need to purchase before the arrival of our coach. Not really a last miniute type of peson.

Thanks for any advice!

#1 Exchange the short power cord for a 50ft one
#2 get a tool box with normal hand tools
#3 a cordless screw gun
#4 cable tv cable
#5 water supply line
5b "L" connector (prevents the hose from kinking)
#6 a bottle of wine

This list will get very long

David will give you a courtesy box with some basic rations - hose, regulator, sewer hose, and your rig comes with the 50A cord.

Basic starts for me were:
  1. Two 10 ft good quality sewer hoses (note that Rhinoflex won't fit in the carrier tube - so try another brand)
  2. Clear sewer hose fitting for verifying the flush is clear
  3. I bought a better sewer cap with handle
  4. Two good water hoses - use both for long reaches
  5. 1 gray or off color hose for flushing black tank
  6. water regulator adjustible
  7. 20A - 30A adapter, I don't think it comes with one, but you should have a 30A - 50A "dog-bone" with the cord
  8. Sewer downspout or whatever its called that threads into the campsite sewer hole
  9. Pattio Mat
  10. Matching recliners
  11. Weber Q100
Done!

I'm curious as to how you secured that info. I went on his web site and couldn't find any info on the program. Or did I miss it?

Buy a extended maintenance warranty from Good Sam's and let someone else work on it, Retired.

My dealer gave me the power cord and reducers down to 120v, White drinking Water and Black water hose for rinsing black tank and 50' of rhino sewer hose. I guess I had a great dealer. Plus he gave me a 12 pack of drop in black tank chemical. He said you are ready to go camping now and gave me 10 weekend passes at local RV parks.

Oh, I also bought a surge protector that tells if you have your ground and polarity right before you plug the 50'cord in and the dealer gave me a pressure regulator for the hose bib.

SW1117 you should receive at PDI a new black water flush hose and a drinking water hose. A 20 amp and 30 amp adapters for your power cord. A cheep but free dump hose. Filter and wrench for water filter housing. Dirt devil vacuum bags. Chem pack for toilet....silicone spray...roll of tp

You need a clear 90 degree adapter for your dump hose connection and the screw in adapter that goes into the camp ground dump connector...I would suggest you get a Progressive Industries Hard wired Surge Protector not the kind you have to lock down to the pedestal....Drive to a RV park and take a look at some of the different types of dump connections and hoses...If you happen to see a RW there knock and introduce yourself and ask questions....Call David Leflore and ask him to send you a list of the things that come with your rig.
